Duncan Hammond

Chief Operations Officer

Duncan is a strategy and operations leader who has spent his career partnering with CEOs and senior leadership teams through complex organisational change.

He spent nine years in commercial and change leadership roles at the Guardian, helping guide the organisation through its digital and reader-funded transformation. He then spent seven years as Vice President of Transformation at Warner Music Group, working with the company’s global leadership team on strategy, governance, and large-scale change programmes. Most recently, he led strategy and operations for a specialist mental health services provider working with clients in the music, film, and creative industries.

Across his career, Duncan has specialised in translating ambitious strategy into deliverable operational plans, and building the governance structures that keep senior leadership teams aligned through periods of complex change. In his spare time, he can be found tending his garden, cycling in the countryside, or generally playing in the outdoors with his family.
