Kyra Appleby

Kyra Appleby has over 10 years’ experience leading climate change programmes. She was previously Director of Partnerships at CDP, where she oversaw a global team managing strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and the accredited solutions providers program. Prior to that, Kyra served as Tracking Lead for the UN Climate Change High Level Champions, shaping strategies for key campaigns like Race to Zero and Race to Resilience. She was also Global Director of Cities, States, and Regions at CDP, where she led a $5.5M initiative to enhance city climate reporting and data quality.
She holds a Master of Public Administration in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s in Environmental Earth Science from Johns Hopkins University.
