
Silke’s experience is in information architecture and digital humanities, with a focus on designing discovery-led, AI-enabled knowledge systems. She previously worked as a Senior Specialist at The National Archives (UK), where she led a year-long research project for the Heritage Science Data Service. Her career spans over a decade of search and discovery leadership across both public and commercial sectors, specialising in internal data processes, metadata workflows, and building robust, practical data models. Silke holds a Master’s degree in Ancient History from KU Leuven. On Fridays, she can be found hiking, wild swimming, or tackling a new DIY project.
