Erich Castro

Policy

Erich is a contractor in our Policy team. Alongside his work at Climate Policy Radar, he is a Climate and Nature Policy Officer at CAN Europe, advocating for better policies at both the EU and international level.

Prior to that, Erich was a BlueBook Trainee at the European Commission, where he focused on ecosystem services accounting. Earlier in his career, Erich gained five years of experience in both public and private sectors, working on Environmental Impact Assessments and environmental local policy development in Latin America.

Erich holds a MSc in Environmental Policy from Wageningen University in the Netherlands. In his spare time, Erich enjoys hiking and exploring nature, as well as hanging out with friends and watching football.
