Kostas Vlassis

Kostas is a technology leader with over two decades of experience building high-performing engineering, data, and product teams. He has served as CTO across multiple organisations operating at the intersection of AI and high-stakes domains, most recently at Closed Loop Medicine, where he led the development and launch of personalised dosing software as a medical device in the UK and US, and at Winnow Systems, a food waste reduction company, where he productionised an award-winning AI and computer vision platform deployed globally across the hospitality industry.

Across his career, Kostas has taken AI and machine learning products from research prototype to global production, tackling complex problems at scale across large and varied datasets. He specialises in unifying siloed teams and translating ambitious product vision into scalable, commercially viable technology.

Kostas holds an Executive MBA from Bayes Business School, an MSc in Information Systems from Brunel University, and a degree in Chemistry from the National University of Athens.
